Demographic Indicators
Demography plays a large role in lack of education. Due to the rapid growth in developing countries, there is a higher need to support the growing population, which are the children. Because children are mostly unable to work or fend for themselves, most of the country's GDP is invested in helping the growing population instead of developmental aids, such as health care or education. Education, which can also teach young men and women contraceptive methods to lower the rapid population growth and fertility rate, is mostly unavailable. Thus, lack of education halts development in the country and progression in the demographic transition.
